My Story
I was born and raised in Haiti, where my fascination with numbers began at an early age. As a teenager, mathematics and physics were among the subjects in which I excelled most, and that interest eventually developed into a passion for engineering and technology.
After leaving Haiti, I pursued that passion by earning a degree in Electronic Engineering. During my university years, I also worked as a middle and high school teacher, an experience that strengthened my ability to communicate complex ideas and work with people from different backgrounds.
My journey later took me to Argentina, where I began a master's program in Sanitary Engineering. Although I ultimately did not complete the program, the experience broadened my academic perspective and reinforced my interest in analytical problem-solving.
My professional path has since taken me through different industries and countries, including several years working as a professional interpreter. Each experience has contributed something different: engineering strengthened my technical thinking, teaching developed my ability to explain ideas, and interpreting taught me to communicate precisely across languages and cultures.
Today, I am transitioning into Data Science and Machine Learning, bringing those experiences together with my long-standing interest in mathematics, technology, and problem-solving. I am developing practical projects in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, machine learning, and time-series forecasting while continuing to expand my technical skills.
For me, data science is not a departure from my previous path—it is the next stage of it.
